E-Waste Collection Day Celebration At Terengganu

Majlis Daerah Marang (MDM), with the support of Jabatan Alam Sekitar (JAS) Negeri Terengganu and Syarikat KT Wan Recycle has organized “E-Waste Collection Program For Marang District”. This program was held at Hentian Bas, Marang, Terengganu.

A total of more than 500 kilograms successfully collected. The success in organizing this program shows the increasing level of awareness in our society for the importance of disposing of this ewaste waste properly and safely. It is also to prevent e-waste from being disposed of in public landfills that have the potential to pollute the quality of the environment.

The continuous cooperation and support by Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan (PBT) as well as the licensed e-waste transporter, will be the catalyst for JAS to continue this program in the future.
