Seminar on Scheduled E-waste Management in Malaysia for DOE Officers and Government Agencies

OBJECTIVE : The seminar aims to brief DOE officers and government agencies that Department of Environment (DOE) is currently in preparation to implement a holistic electrical and electronic equipment management system (Scheduled E-waste) that focuses on controlled six (6) items namely television, refrigerator, air conditioning, washing machines, personal computers and cell phones. The system based on the result of DOE-JICA Technical Cooperation entitled “The Project for Development of Mechanism for Household E-waste Management in Malaysia” which was carried out in 2015-2018.
