ENGAGEMENT WITH DOE-JICA MANAGEMENT TO DEVELOP THE E-MANIFEST SYSTEM AS PART OF MALAYSIAN PILOT PROJECT OF E-WASTE COLLECTION AND RECOVERY MANAGEMENT

Hazardous Materials Division, Department of Environment Malaysia held a discussion session to finalize the E-Manifest system which functions to store e-waste movement information from e-waste collection centers and e-waste collection premises to e-waste recovery premises. This system will be used in the e-waste management mechanism pilot project involving several premises which is expected to be implemented in collaboration with DOE-JICA from June 2023 until November 2023. This E-Manifest is expected to be able to control and ensure the flow of e-waste to premises registered with DOE.
