Jabatan Alam Sekitar (JAS) Negeri Sembilan has held a site visit with the organizer IJM Land Berhad and the involved agencies, namely SWM Environment Sdn Bhd and SW Corp. Malaysia around Seremban 2 housing area for the e-waste promotion and collection program in conjunction with the Negeri Sembilan World Environment Day 2022 on 5 June 2022.
The activity of collecting Electrical and Electronic Waste (e-waste) among the residents of this housing area is an initiative towards the awareness of recycling e-waste as well as promoting the e-waste recycling campaign by giving exposure and explanation on the importance of managing and disposing of e-waste properly.
It is hoped that this e-waste collection activity will foster and increase awareness of recycling e-waste so that awareness towards the preservation and conservation of the environment will continue for all residents of housing area in Negeri Sembilan.
