E-Waste Collection Day Celebration At Terengganu

Heavy rain and strong winds since yesterday, did not thwart the efforts and cooperation of Jabatan Alam Sekitar (JAS) Negeri Terengganu with KMI Kuala Terengganu Medical Center and KT Wan Recycle, to continue the “Electrical and Electronic Waste Collection Program” at Perkarangan KMI Kuala Terengganu Medical Centre today.

A total of 200 kg was successfully collected from continuous response by the public. This shows the level of awareness among the community is increasing due to the government’s efforts to encourage the public to dispose of ewaste according to safe and environmentally friendly methods.

JAS Negeri Terengganu is always optimistic that with the cooperation of various parties, efforts to preserve the environment, especially in the state, will continue to be implemented successfully.
