Workshop on Household E-Waste Management
The “Workshop on Household E-Waste Management“ was conducted on 20 – 21 September 2016 at Dorsett Hotel in Putrajaya. It was jointly organized by the DOE and JICA.
The workshop gathered 53 people including the representatives from the related government agencies in Malaysia, as well as the representatives from concessionaire waste collector, manufacturers, NGOs and E-waste Alam Alliance members (retailers, recyclers), aiming to finalise the detailed contents of the Draft Guidelines in order to conduct several pilot projects to test the application of these draft guidelines.
